Our Name

We are known by acronym ‘Progress’ – the meaning behind each letter denotes our goal i.e. Promotion of Global Peace, Human Rights, Environment and Social Services.

Our Goal

works for advancing the common good, of creating opportunity for a better life for all, by focusing on five building blocks of: health, education, environment, human rights and peace. Advancing the common good is less about helping an individual, organization or a community at a time. It is more about changing systems to help all of us. We are all connected and interdependent. We all win when a child attends a school, when people are healthy, financially stable, feel safe and secure and live in a clean and healthy environment. Working together we can create such a society and community for a common brighter future.

Our Work

‘Progress’ works for the making of a progressive, prosperous and a peaceful society by focusing on:

  • Health – Improving Women and Children Health
  • Education – Helping Children and Youth Achieve Their Potential
  • Environment  -  To promote sustainable practices
  • Poverty Alleviation - Through provision of basic necessities i.e. food, water, clothing, shelter and healthcare
  • Human Rights – To support basic rights i.e. right to life, freedom, equality, justice and freedom of speech
  • Peace – To promote a culture of nonviolence, tolerance and peaceful coexistence.

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world;

indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.
